Friday Finds (4)

FRIDAY FINDS, hosted by MizB at Should be Reading, showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

Brrr! It’s starting to get chilly here, and with the end of October comes the end of my Friday Finds for now – at the rate I’m going, my TBR list will build up pretty fast… and I want to spend more time with the books I already own. (I don’t want the Paper Police coming after me for Book Neglect!) The sad thing is that my TBR list will probably continue to grow, albeit at a slower rate. SELF CONTROL.

  1. The Avery Shaw Experiment by Kelly Oram. The book synopsis and Francine‘s review of this just made me fall in book-love.
  2. Gulp: Adventures on the Alimentary Canal by Mary Roach. A book about food and science? Yes, please!
  3. The Clockwork Scarab by Colleen Gleason. Steampunk + Sherlock Holmes = this book. I can’t wait to read it!

Have you read any of these books? What books did you find this week? Let me know so that I can check them out!

    • Yes, I’m really excited to read The Clockwork Scarab! But I won’t get to it until a few weeks down the road because I have too many books lined up, haha. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  1. I heard about The Avery Shaw Experiment from Francine too 😀

The Clockwork Scarab looks interesting too but I don’t know if I’m ready for another series… I’ll still add it to my to read list and see, though *laughs*
